Arabic Flashcards

Assalaamu 'alaikum

My homeschooling hasn't really been happening because of my health - I feel so sorry for the little darlings because they are so eager (for first-time readers or late-comers, please refer to this post).

Anyhow, while browsing some homeschooling groups on Yahoo! Groups, a post from a sister requesting Arabic flashcards caught my eye. So, since I didn't have much to do, I've created some very basic flashcards of the Arabic alphabet (in A6 size) and a colouring version.

Here's the normal ones...

... and here's the colouring ones.

UPDATE: I've also made some flashcards with Arabic numbers. They are only available via email at present due to bandwidth usage.

Please note: you will need to have the lastest Adobe Acrobat Reader. To download right-click one of the links then select "Save Link As" or "Save Target As" (depending on if you're a Firefox or Internet Exploer user) - then click "Save".

Enjoy!

Was-salaamu 'alaikum

p.s. Excuse me if it looks a little too 'funky'.

Wa 'alaikum as salaam wa rahmatullaah. I don't know when I can make use of them, but I've gotten the PDF's. Jazakallaahu khairan for posting them. By the way, what method of transliteration do you use?

P.S. Although the strong and em tags work, for some reason, the u tag doesn't. Wass salaamu'alaikum.

I didn't know that there are different methods, but the way I transliterate is exactly as I say it (yes, I know that sounds stupid). So if a letter is followed by a letter of prolongation (i.e. alif, yaa` or waaw) I'll reflect it in my transliteration - hence the way I spell Allaah, Islaam etc.

I hope that's clear.

Was-salaamu 'alaikum.

P.S. the u tag's working now.
