Bismillaah.

I am quite disappointed by the lack of participation in the competition, and it may be that the prizes were of no interest to most of you, or the number of names I requested were too many. Allaah Knows best.

Anyhow, we do have a winner, and the answers can be found below. A hearty 'Mabrook' to...

Imran Ayyub!
and Umm Hibaat will be getting a runner-up prize simply for trying!

And here is the winning entry:

Some Of The Names Of The Day Of The Judgement
Compiled by Imran Ayub[1]

Alhamdulilah. Indeed, all praise is due to Allaah. We praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allaah from our soulsf evil and our wrong doings. He whom Allaah guides, no one can misguide; and he whom He misguides, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no (true) God except Allah – alone without a partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His eAbd (servant) and messenger

Allaah, the Most High, says in the Qurfaan:

gO you who believe! Believe in Allaah, and His Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)), and the Book (the Qurfaan) which He has sent down to His Messenger, and the Scripture which He sent down to those before (him), and whosoever disbelieves in Allaah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day, then indeed he has strayed far away.h[2]
Dr. Muhammad al – Jibaly said:
gThe Last day is not a normal day comparable to this lifefs days. Rather, it is extremely long, starting with total destruction of the universe, the rebuilding it and resurrecting the dead, then assembling and judging it and resurrecting the dead then assembling and judging the creation over a period of many thousand years, then the eternal life in Paradise or Hell. In the Qurfaan, Allaah, the Most High, gives many names to the Last Day. Each one of these names describes a situation or even that will occur during it.h[3]

The following are a list of some of the names and their translations.

1. Yawm ud - Deen (the Day of Judgement)

Assalaamu Alaykum,

Very interesting ma sha Allah to see a list of names. I did come up with one or two different ones and got confused then realised, yes, there are more!

But sis, I don't deserve a runner up prize!!! I could have put more effort in to it. But I had guests so qaddar Allahu ma sha fa'al.

Jazaakillahu khayran sis! Oh, and the prize was most definitely of interest to me!!!
