Dear Mum,
don't cry anymore
wipe those tears dry.
Dear Mum,
I know things aren't easy
but you've got to continue to try.

Dear Mum,
I know times are hard
but Allaah is always here.
Dear Mum,
you need to strengthen in faith
and this can begin in your prayer.

Dear Mum,
it must hurt for you to know
that I haven't always been at my best.
Dear Mum,
I don't want to disappoint you
I want you to put your mind at rest.

Dear Mum,
I love you with all my heart
I just haven't told you this.
Dear Mum,
cling tight to Allaah's rope
and you'll be in eternal bliss.
