Dhul-Hijjah 1426 - Starts Today!

January 1, 2006 : 1 Dhul Hijjah 1426 H

Bismillaahi was-salaatu was-salaamu 'alaa Rasoolillaah. Wa ba'd:

Assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullaah.

I hope that you're all well and in a high state of eemaan, inshaa`Allaah.

Since today is the FIRST day of Dhul-Hijjah (the month when the hajj is performed), the day of 'Eid-ul-Adha will be Tuesday 10th January 2006, inshaa`Allaah.

I pray that you'll all use these days to increase in worship and... don't forget to say the takbeer (Allaahu akbar), tasbeeh (SubhaanAllaah), tahmeed (Alhamdulillaah) and tahleel (Laa ilaaha illallaah) throughout these first 10 days inshaa`Allaah. Also, if you're able to fast.... then fast!
