Don't Be Sad

Author: Aaidh ibn Abdullah al-Qarni

Description from Publisher:

At a time in which the Muslims are beset with trials from every periphery and within, comes this heartening book rooted in the commandments of Allah (swt), the Sunnah and the excellent guidance and examples of the Muslims that have come before us.

Don't Be Sad is an absolute must-read for all people. It is full of practical advice on how to replace sadness with a pragmatic and ultimately satisfying Islamic outlook on life. It exposes to the modern reader how Islam teaches us to deal with the tests and tribulations of this world.

So, take heart and hold firmly onto the rope of Allah (swt).

Umm Junayd's Comment:

This book came to me (not literally) when I was at the lowest peak in my faith. Many trials were occuring at home with my family, at university.. and just as Shaitaan's whispers were getting stronger, a sister showed me this book - what a day that was! It seemed as though the clouds of darkness were never there as all I could see was sunshine.

Mashaa`Allaah, this book is a must-read for all - whether you feel down or not, it's for you. It enlightens you about the many things you should be thankful for and why depression should not even exist.
