Tiny Feet, Tinier Toes!

In my determination to try to get all the words and ideas I have swirling in my head written on paper, I managed to muster this little poem this morning, mashaa`Allaah. I just realised that the last poem was written this time last year! SubhaanAllaah.
Tiny Feet, Tinier Toes!
A thud to the left
A thump to the right
Banging and knocking
Are you alright?
A wriggle, a tickle
A twist and a squirm
Bumping and pounding
An acrobat's turn
Waggling your toes
Sucking your thumb
Waving your hand
Say "Hello Mum!"
I only just wish
I could hold you close
Bathe you, feed you
Stroke your nose.
Eyes fill with tears
Mouths gape with wonder
Soft whispers of praise
To the Sole Creator
Admiration and gratitude
Far from disbelief
"We started like that"
But it was only brief.
As we peer at the screen
You seem so near
"SubhaanAllaah...
Wish you were here!"
Only truth can be found
In the Noble Qur`aan
Try looking for rifts
Tired your sight will return.
Truly a marvel
Yet brief is the time
For you must be born
Life's journey's begun.
